Mr. Daniel Albrecht is a German attorney at law and Managing Counsel of Starke. Besides, he works as a Guest Professor for civil law at the China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL) in Beijing and is also external expert on the EU China IPR SME Helpdesk and member of the board of the German Chamber of Commerce in North China. Mr. Albrecht specializes in corporate law, commercial law as well as trademark law. He also assists his clients in drafting and negotiating complex contract documentation and published several articles about Chinese IPR and E-Commerce matters.
Mr. Robbert Gorris is currently Business Development Manager at Sovereign China. He provides companies with experience in market entry strategy for China. He provides them with his knowledge of the Chinese market gained during his 8 years in China working with SME’s aiming to enter China. Before joining Sovereign, Robbert was General Manager at the Belgium, Netherlands Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Beijing (BenCham). During his time with BenCham, he was involved in many business delegations visiting China from a diverse range of industries and held different board positions. He was board member of the EU SME Centre in Beijing and of the accreditation board of Belgium Luxembourg Chambers of Commerce abroad based in Brussels. Mr. Gorris holds a BA Degree in Business administration and an MBA in Change Management from the Rotterdam School of Management in the Netherlands. During his studies, he won a scholarship to study at the National Chengchi University in Taipei. There he worked on his Master Thesis on cultural difference in the meaning of trust by analyzing the cultural difference in word association.
