German Beer Tent

Once again the German Industry and Commerce office Shanghai brings an authentic ¡°Oktoberfest¡± feeling to the Kunshan International Beer Festival by organizing the German Beer Tent!

In Germany, beer festivals hold a long history and are celebrated widely across the country. Amongst them is the most famous, the world-renowned ¡°Oktoberfest¡± in Munich. It is a hugely anticipated yearly event where families and friends join together to celebrate in a warm and boisterous atmosphere, of course with a glass of beer. The German Industry and Commerce Office Shanghai now brings this special and unique atmosphere to Kunshan!

The German Tent , extensively decorated in typical Bavarian blue and white, can seat 1000 guests every night. Sitting together at long tables, guests can enjoy German and International specialties along with a freshly draught German beer. Choose between two traditional Bavarian beers: a ¡°Helles¡± or a ¡°Weissbraeu¡± ¨C a beer brewed from wheat. Beyond this the German Tent is a bold for German, Chinese and international companies from Shanghai and the whole Jiangsu region.

This year, in Kunshan public cultural square, an area of 1,600 square meters of giant German tent will be set up, with the capacity of 2,000 people at the same time, the guests sat along the traditional German beer tables, from 6 o'clock on every night, the German bands Die Emsperlen and Schwabenlaender Musikanten bring you a night of brilliant performances, after the traditional German folk songs, party passion will take you to the climax of audio-visual feast.

For those who like a more relaxed and quiet evening, a separate beer garden in front of the tent will be available. Sitting at long tables and small booths, German specialities will be the perfect compliment to a glass of fresh draught beer.

With the VIP ticket you can enjoy German Beer and the delicious buffet. Make a reservation to secure yourself a space in the tent or make sure you arrive as early as possible, especially if part of a large group, to avoid the disappointment of missing out on all the festivities.
